Finding new online accounts that offer tools for parents as they raise their families is always a treat. Especially when these accounts happen to be led by Puerto Rican moms whose energy and passion inspire and motivate. Leisha Torres is one of those moms. A teacher by trade, she has created a platform that shares all kinds of activities from arts and crafts to cooking to outings and everything familia at Embelequeando Juntos.
When I asked her what she thought the Spanish word for embelequeando would be, we both laugh! There is no such a word but in reality, it means coming up with things, or creating out of anything. It is a fun word widely used in my little island and it describes her account perfectly!
