Tips for mothers as they navigate a new kind of summer this year:
– Lower expectations – We don’t need to do everything all of the time. It’s OK to let go of certain things. Be flexible!
– Rest more – Yes, REST MORE! Create little habits that you can follow daily. For example, good sleeping habits can provide more energy, better mood, better skin.⠀
– Be open about food intake- Add more fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, whole foods
– Involve your children – Teach them about ingredients, cause, and effects. Plan weekly menus together, take them shopping.⠀
– Set up weekly goals – One week try sleeping more. The next week, work on your food intake. The following week, add skincare routine, and so on.
