Throughout the last couple of months, I have had the opportunity to chat with amazing Latina moms and dads who have been working really hard, out of their comfort zone at times, to parent and teach.⠀
⠀
Often times, like last week, the mom I spoke with happens to be a bilingual educator. This allowed me the opportunity to offer my audience up-to-date resources for parents as they navigate their bilingual journey.⠀
⠀
Yeri Zarate, founder of @BilingualBeyoutiful and @BilingualBerriesMag is one of those experts. Yeri has 16 years of experience in the field of education and believes parents should insist children be exposed to coding in technology–having that knowledge makes for an overall student and can set them on the path to be the next developer of our time. ⠀
⠀
Yeri and I talked about raising our children and her favorite language tools and resources for summer fun. To stay consistent with language learning, Yeri has four rules: Listening, speaking, writing, and FUN!⠀
