4 Books to Read With Young Children that Promote Diversity

Making the choice to raise bilingual children takes commitment and discipline. It’s not an easy journey, but it can be so much fun and a great gift to our children.

Vanessa Nielsen Molina knows this journey all too well. She’s a bilingual mom based in Arizona and the founder of Sol Book Box–a monthly subscription box program offering books from Latin America, Spain, and the US.

An avid reader since childhood, Vanessa combined her love of reading and culture to create a program that highlights Spanish books. She recently created a new program for parents raising bilingual children but feeling frustrated by the process called Bilinguify.

The program consists of 21 days of simple strategies designed to fuel a family’s Spanish speaking journey. Videos, lessons, and fun family homework are part of the plan.
